Hugh Daniel is an enthusiastic painter inspired by animals and nature. He lives and works in Raleigh, North Carolina and is a professional artist, website developer, and digital consultant. His paintings are best described as Contemporary Realism blended with Impressionism using acrylics on stretched canvas, with color and interpretive brush strokes used to convey a feeling or emotion connected with the primary subject.

His creative and professional experiences include an early career as a professional actor, director and playwright, followed by many years as a graphic designer and digital consultant. These experiences have combined with a love of whitewater canoeing, wilderness camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities and sports, to allow Hugh to paint with attention to detail and with a deep appreciation of nature.

His artwork can be viewed in multiple locations in the Piedmont region of North Carolina for special exhibitions, art markets, and in artisan gift shops.
