“Eastern Towee in a Crepe Myrtle” is an 8″ x 10″ acrylic painting on stretched canvas. Just finished it today and it may be one of my favorite paintings of a feathered visitor. Bright and early every morning I hear the “skrreee” from our Eastern Towee and occasionally see it land in our front-yard crepe myrtle as we eat breakfast. It is also called a Rufous-sided Towee. For whatever reason, our yard has a very wide variety of songbirds and it has given me a lot of pleasure to watch this one in particular. Framed in a dark brown floating frame. Framed size: 9″x11″.
