“Ormond Beach Sunrise” is a 16″ x 12″ acrylic painting on canvas by Hugh Daniel. Based on a reference photo taken by a friend and used with permission. This is one of my favorite paintings and it seemed to just flow from my brushes to the canvas. The colors range from blues to brilliant orange to deep teal to browns and tans for the sand. Sunrise is always a magical time at the beach and I feel this painting captures that sensation.
