“Polar Bear under an Arctic Moon” is an 24″x18″ acrylic on stretched canvas by Hugh Daniel. Fast and extended paint strokes using a gloss gel give the ice cliffs a truly chilly effect. The polar bear gazes upwards while the arctic full moon shines down. Inspired by watching a recent documentary about polar bears and the dangers they face with climate change and the melting of the polar ice cap. Signed in lower right.

The painting is sold framed in a black wooden floater frame with pewter colored front. The frame beautifully accents the frosty blues of the landscape and really makes the polar bear and moon pop.

Also available as a print, canvas wrap, or archival metal plate.

Description

“Polar Bear under an Arctic Moon” is an 24″x18″ acrylic on stretched canvas by Hugh Daniel. Fast and extended paint strokes using a gloss gel give the ice cliffs a truly chilly effect.
