“Snow Leopard in the Himalayas” is an 24″x18″ acrylic on stretched canvas by Hugh Daniel. The Snow Leopard has always been a semi-magical animal to me, mysterious and elusive. It is an endangered species, truly majestic, with the rugged Himalayan Mountains as a fitting backdrop. I don’t know if he had a particular affinity for this feline species (although he loved cats), but the painting is dedicated to my brother, John, whom I thought of frequently while working on it. Signed in lower right.

The painting is sold framed in a black wooden floater frame with pewter colored front. The frame accents the coloration on the Snow Leopard.

Also available as a print, canvas wrap, or archival metal plate.

Description

“Snow Leopard in the Himalayas” is an 24″x18″ acrylic on stretched canvas by Hugh Daniel. The Snow Leopard has always been a semi-magical animal to me, mysterious and elusive. It is an endangered species, truly majestic, with the rugged Himalayan Mountains as a fitting backdrop.
